Welcome to The River Palm Terrace, New Jersey’s premier steak house.
The three branches of the restaurant were established in 1983, in
Edgewater, N.J. (1 mile south of the George Washington Bridge), on
Route 4 West in Fair Lawn, N.J. (across from the Garden State Plaza),
and nestled on five tree-lined acres in Mahwah, N.J. (the corner of
Routes 17 & 202).
Zagat has consistently rated The River Palm Terrace as New Jersey’s
top steak house and one of America’s top restaurants. Each individual
restaurant hand-selects and dry-ages U.S.D.A. prime beef, the genuine
article, for 28 days. The restaurants’ own butchers then hand-cut each
steak on a daily basis. Our seafood is purchased daily from the Fulton
Street fish market. Our specialty items are flown directly to our
restaurants from around the county as well as from around the world.
During the months of October through May, fresh Florida stone crabs
arrive daily and are picked up at nearby Newark International Airport.
There are no short cuts taken at the River Palm Terrace restaurants,
where quality is our main ingredient. Only Idaho potatoes are used for
our famous homemade French fries, our crispy hashed browns, or our
simply delicious baked potatoes.
Our salads are always the freshest, coolest, and most refreshing
salads that you will ever have. A cordial and professional staff will
serve you. The staff is eager to please the most discriminating of
palates.
Our wine list has won a Wine Spectator Award.
Crisp white linens adorn the beautiful hard wood interiors;
understated, tasteful décor will welcome you at our bustling prime
steak houses.
The River Palm Terrace restaurants attract couples, families, business
clientele, and celebrities, the likes of whom have never been seen
before on this side of the Hudson River.
Please join us for lunch or dinner and experience what many feel is
consistently the highest quality paired with the most outstanding
value of any restaurant in the U.S.A.
